“Schiavo, Barger Urge Immediate Action As Chiquita Construction Raises Health Concerns ”

Residents of Val Verde joined Assemblywoman Pilar Schiavo, D-Chatsworth, and representatives from Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger’s office Thursday to announce a joint letter from the elected officials supporting the community as it continues to face toxic fumes from the Chiquita Canyon Landfill.
